Model M704-5
Up to 155 candela IALA peak intensity and performance up to 7 NM (13 km)
Suitable for any navigational or hazard-marking task up to 5 nautical miles in range, the Carmanah Model M704-5 marine lantern combines oversized solar modules and a heavy-duty battery for enhanced energy collection and storage. Ultra-bright LEDs and enhanced optics provide greater light uniformity and wider vertical divergence for increased visibility and range in all weather conditions.
Through the innovative combination of solar power and LED technology, the M704-5 lantern charges during the day, even under cloudy conditions, and turns on automatically at night. Instead of relying on short-lived incandescent bulbs, the M704-5 uses durable, ultra bright light emitting diodes (LEDs), which have an operating lifespan of up to 100,000 hours.
The Model M704-5 is built for performance in harsh weather conditions. The M704-5 can be programmed with over 250 flash patterns, is manufactured in accordance with ISO 9001:2000 Quality Assurance Standards, and produces light output in IALA's four international chromaticity colors: green, red, amber and white.
